How do you determine how much water to drink, each day? Do you drink more when you want to lose weight? How do the foods that you eat contribute to water intake?

The few things I know about water:

  1. It "fills you up" if you're hankering for a snack
  2. If you wait to drink water until you're thirsty, it's too late
  3. I think it's about 20 ounces of water per 30 minutes of exercise (or something like that)
